As our young learners' reading identities begin to form, it is important that they are supported in their choices of books. Understanding genre connections and how to best signpost children and young people to books based on their interests can offer your learners access to a wealth of meaningful texts that they will find great pleasure in reading. Igniting that spark comes with knowledge and we have developed a suite of resources and information to assist teachers in familiarising themselves with contemporary titles to meet the needs of their learners.
