How do we use your information?
In order to track and evaluate participation in Reading Schools we will share participation information with key stakeholders, including the Scottish Government and Local Authorities. This may include your name and school details. Your personal contact details will not be shared without your express permission.
All registered contacts, not just lead contact, will be able to see details of the action plan and evidence plan. The lead contact has the ability to add and remove contacts, and assign a new lead contact.
We gather certain information from our website, such as numbers and frequency of visitors to the site and its pages and we only use this information in aggregate form, to determine how visitors use specific areas and to help us to improve our website’s operation and appeal. No personal information about individual users or visitors is gathered in this process.
By signing up to Reading Schools you agree to receive emails directly related to your account and your participation. We will not send you any further information unless you opt in to sign up to Scottish Book Trust’s e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our e-newsletters at any time.
We are currently running a pilot programme with six early years settings in Scotland. If you are not part of a pilot early years setting but would be interested in taking part, you can register your interest by emailing (this will open in a new window)email@example.com. By registering for the waiting list you agree to receive emails related to your setting's eligibility for Reading Schools.
