This is a recorded interview element from a live webinar held in September 2024, featuring Emma Jane Rendall and Lucy Clements from Firth Primary School, Orkney Islands. At the time of interview they had recently achieved their Core award, and have since gone on to accredit at both Silver and Gold levels – it has been a real privilege to see their reading culture flourish!

This interview is intended to support schools at the beginning of their Reading Schools accreditation, with a particular focus on supporting the rural island experience
